The progress of a Nation and well-being of its people apart from other factors greatly depends on the inclusion and well-being of all.
While India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, inequality in terms of income divide, modern education deprivation, gaps in health services / facilities etc. is increasing sharply too. These widening gaps and rising inequalities have an impact on the overall development of the Nation which truly means the impact on development and well-being of its people.
In order to tackle the above and contribute to the Nation building with a specific focus on marginalized communities, a group of professionals and experts in various areas pooled their skill sets and resources together to establish “Ek Roshni Educational & Social Welfare Trust”, a non-profit organization with the belief that the only way to change the future is to shape and nurture it with the motto of creating an impact that matters. Based on this commitment and furtherance of the objectives an innovative approach to mainstream and support the upliftment of the marginalized communities was developed while adopting the value-driven approach grounded on modern thinking, quality education, and social welfare. We believe in utilizing technology as an enabler in all the interventions as a means to impact a larger audience and reap overarching benefits.
