Means to quality education without any form of exclusion or discrimination is important for the upliftment of the marginalized communities, minorities and underprivileged people so that they can form the essential part of the Nation building.

In view of this, Ek Roshni executed a program “Knowledge is Light” for bringing the students of madarsas / religious institutions as well as other students who were deprived of modern education (specifically girl child) into the fold of comprehensive primary education programme for a period of six months (1st October 2021 to 31st March 2022). The programme involved teaching the basics and primary details on subjects such as Hindi, English, Mathematics and Social Studies.

The students as well as their parents were made aware of the benefits of modern education and their responsibility to contribute to the growth of the Nation.
