Community Giving aims to support individuals in need by repurposing gently used clothing collected from societies and apartments, ensuring they are cleaned, packaged, and distributed with dignity. Programme Description
Community Giving is a heartfelt initiative aimed at collecting old clothes from urban societies and apartments, washing, cleaning, and properly packaging them, and distributing them to those in need. From street settlers and slum dwellers to individuals in rural areas facing economic hardships, our mission is to provide warmth and comfort to those who need it most. By repurposing gently used clothing, we not only reduce waste but also extend a helping hand to those facing adversity. Through the collective generosity of our community, we aim to spread smiles and make a meaningful impact on the lives of the less fortunate. Our commitment goes beyond providing clothing; it is about restoring dignity and hope to individuals in challenging circumstances. Together, we embody the spirit of compassion and solidarity, fostering a sense of belonging and support within our community. Through acts of kindness and generosity, we strive to create a brighter, more inclusive world where everyone has access to essential resources and opportunities for a better future.
The target is to reach to around 200 beneficiaries in first year and a total of 500 by the end of second year.
